Carbon formation and catalyst poisoning due to metal contamination can be a major challenge during operation of gas compressors. Lubricants of the Klüber Summit GRC series have been formulated to address these issues. The series contains synthetic compounds that minimise the possibility of carbon formation on valves and the possibility of flash fires. The reduced possibility of carbon formation helps to minimise the formation of carbon deposits in heated catalysts beds, thereby maintaining the efficiency of the catalyst.
Klüber Summit GRC oils are formulated to be metals-free, which includes sulfur, chlorides and phosphorus, and meet UOP guidelines. Klüber Summit GRC oils are NSF H1-registered and therefore comply with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. The lubricants were developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or animal feed industries. The use of Klüber Summit GRC oils can contribute to increased reliability of your production equipment and processes. We recommend conducting an additional risk analysis, e.g. HACCP.
